Why do I feel so tired?

Last September, I had a hysterectomy and ever since I've been so tired. All the time, except for the first few hours after I get up. I like to get up early, about 6am. and I go to bed at about 10.30pm and I'm hoping you can suggest certain foods to give me more energy. I've had a blood test and my doctor couldn't find anything wrong. I take a multibionta vitamin tablet, evening primrose oil capsule and Vitamin E capsule. I have a varied diet, not too much meat and I eat lots of vegetables, pasta etc., any ideas please.

Sometime it can take quite along time to recover from an operation, and a hysterectomy will also have had various hormonal impacts on your body which I'm sure may be playing a part in the way you are feeling now. If your doctor said he could not find anything wrong, then I'm sure he must have included within this a test for iron deficiency. So the only other question I?d ask is are you eating well spaced meals with plenty of starchy carbohydrates such as pasta, potatoes, bread and rice? Sometimes people cut down on carbs too drastically when they are dieting which isn't a good idea as they are the body?s prime source of energy. If you can?t improve your diet any further and still don?t feel better after a month or so, do go back to your GP.
