10 goals challenge - Practise 10 mins of mindfulness

Emma White - Nutritionist

Goal of the day – Practise mindfulness for 10 minutes

Regularly practising mindfulness has been associated with improved well-being and positive health outcomes. Take time each day to check in with yourself – it's a great way to identify areas of your life you may need to pay closer attention to. Learn to practise some self-care – for example if you're feeling tired, treat yourself to a nice hot bath or a massage. It doesn't sit easy with us when we are always busy caring for others, but it is really important to look after you. If you don't take good care of yourself, you won't be able to look after everyone else. So make time – even if it's just 10 minutes a day – to do something you enjoy.
